Commissioner Amy Schwab, District 2

Current Term, January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2029Commissioner Schwab joined the Port Commission in January 2024, representing District 2, which includes Dixie, Waitsburg and Prescott areas and the eastern third of the City of Walla Walla. Amy retired in 2022 from thirteen years with the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory leading regional business development and as planning lead for the US DOE’s biofuels research and development. Previously Amy spent over a decade consulting with high tech businesses following a 12-year corporate career in financial services. Amy has a BS degree in Economics and Business Administration-Finance from Northern State University. Amy served on the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority (WEDFA) Board and was a founding member of the Grandmothers Roundtable.
